Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be upside down on a pole let alone with just my two legs holding me there – after all I am a grandmother!!!
Thanks to your patience, humour and support of a great class we have all managed to attain our goals – all at our own pace.
After years of going to the gym and never seeing any real results I can actually say that I now see abs and I mean my own – not someone elses!!! I am amazed and proud of myself.
Thanks again and I can honestly say it is one of the most fun and exciting “sports” I have ever done.
Well in all my years of fitness fanaticism I would never have thought I would be doing something as off the wall as Pole Fitness.
After dragging a girlfriend to a pole party one Saturday afternoon and discovering there were to be classes we both decided to join up and I have to say it was probably one of the better decisions we have made.
My girlfriend and I over the past 10 years or so have done the running thing (including a half marathon), cycling (including riding around Lake Taupo on a tandem for 7 1/2 hours) and the gym thing. All of these whilst being challenging never really gave me the results I was looking and hoping for.
Since joining pole fitness I have really noticed a difference in my fitness and toning. With the help of Christine's patience and perseverance I have really pushed myself and the benefits are worth it. The classes are so much fun and I really look forward to them.
The environment that Christine has created at the studio allows women and girls of all ages and sizes to feel comfortable and allows them to step out of their comfort zones and surprise themselves with their hidden abilities and talent. She makes everyone feel like a pole princess and that is what makes the classes and Christine so special.
My short time at pole fitness with Christine and all the wonderful women has been something truly phenomenal.
It simply started by entering a competition at a bar, where I won lessons at Pole Secrets, Pole Fitness.
Then just four weeks ago, Christine asked if I would be interested in entering a competition down in wellington where I would be representing the studio.
So much time and energy was sacrificed in seeing that I succeeded as both a student and an individual, for this of course I'm filled with gratitude and though there were days I left the studio in pain, and I even shed tears while pushing through a butterfly I’ve enjoyed my experience thus far…
Christine has pushed me where, when and how I needed to be pushed, guided me and supported me never losing faith in me.
I consider it an honour and a privilege to return having won First Place in the Central Pole Dance Championships, recognition of our hard work.

I am blessed to have been welcomed into the pole fit family with love and regard it a home, safe for growing stronger, fitter and healthier in many areas.
